Step Into New Beginnings: A Feng Shui Remedy

by | Apr 8, 2017

Feng Shui the Bagua is used to measure energy. The Bagua consists of nine Guas and the first Gua is Chen pronounced Jun. Chen is about new beginnings. The little seed that bursts open and a baby green shoot appears thru the soil, hence wood energy. Each Gua also represents parts of the body. Chen is the foot, but it really starts at the tip of your toes and extends up to the hinge joint at the top of your thigh, is about starting new projects and stepping out into the world.

Your feet and legs do a lot for you. They hold you up and give support all day long. Your feet take you anywhere you want to go one step at a time. You, for the most part take your feet for granted until they hurt or are injured.

Many people experience breaking a leg or spraining an ankle or a knee injury. This is your body expressing the difficulty you are experiencing in starting something new. For me I have experienced breaking my toes three times. Once before going off to over night camp the first time at age eight, second when I went to college 2000 thousand miles away from home, and a third time when I moved my kids and me across country to start a new life. I am sure if you stop and think back most of you can recall an injury linking with a new beginning.

This is often a wake up call to be more aware and slow down. Of course you are forced to slow down when you are on crutches or are unable to walk easily. If you are mindful you can give extra energy to your feet (ankles, knees legs) and your self with a new situation by using this easy remedy ahead before you need your body to demonstrate or get your attention and slow you down.

Stepping Into New Beginnings remedy will give more attention to your feet (legs, ankles and knees). But most of all give you extra balanced energy to gracefully start something new. This will help you move forward with your body fully supported with your legs squarely underneath you and standing tall on both feet and stepping out with total confidence.
